This series was taken at the beautiful Tintagel Castle which is is a fascinating historical site located on the rugged coast of Cornwall, UK. Perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, it is believed to be the birthplace of King Arthur, whos bronze statue sits atop the island. The castle ruins date back to the medieval period, with remnants of ancient walls and courtyards.

I couldn't wish for a better weather to highlight the beauty of this region - it was drizzling and so windy that it made me really want to hold on to King Arthur's sword, so I won't be blown off the island. I think this weather really brought out the unbelievable colors of the nature here - torquise waters, stromy skies and lush green grass!
